The father is entitled to ten working days of paternity leave after the birth of his child, which he can apply for no later than the end of the second month following the birth. In the case of adoption, this leave must be requested within two months from the date the adoption decision becomes final. The father can decide when to take this leave and can even take it in two parts. This entitlement also applies if his child is stillborn or passes away. In addition, the employee is entitled to 44 working days of parental leave until their child reaches the age of three.
